White and Sage Wedding Theme

No matter what time of the year it is or where you choose to tie the knot, white and sage is a classic color combination. Elegant and sophisticated, the purity of white pairs perfectly with greenery's organic richness. Roses and eucalyptus combine to create a feeling of modern timelessness.

Green and White Wedding Ceremony

Held outdoors on a beautiful fall day, Donna and Drew exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family. Standing under a stylish gazebo, their ceremony embraced the beauty of simplicity and nature. Here’s how they decorated their white and sage wedding ceremony:

Flowing White Linen Arch

Instead of a traditional wedding arch, Donna and Drew embraced the venue and the existing white pergola. Surrounded by trees and perched atop stylish brick stairs, they added flowing white linens to create an arch-like effect.

Linens are an often underestimated way to add texture and movement to a space, and in this case, they instantly elevated the couple’s gorgeous wedding venue.

Free-Standing Floral Decor

To create a charming ambiance and welcome their guests to their wedding ceremony, Donna and Drew created these free-standing decor pillars complete with flowers and a lantern.

Using our DIY Flower Box in White & Sage, it is easy and simple to create unique decor like this, which will then perfectly complement the rest of your wedding decor. We love the creativity!

Charming Flower Girl Rose Petals

The tiny ring boy and flower girl added a dash of serious cuteness! He wore an adorable children’s tux, and she wore a green tutu that matched the White & Sage color palette. To complete her flower girl duties, she threw chic white faux flower petals from Ling’s Moment! Faux petals are made from silk, meaning that they won’t wilt or make a mess, and can be repurposed at other special events in the future.

Cozy White & Green Wedding Reception

After the ceremony, when Donna and Drew were officially husband and wife, it was time to celebrate! As the weather cooled down, they took the party inside, bringing their White & Sage wedding theme with them. Here’s how they styled the interiors of their gorgeous wedding reception:

Lush Green Head Table

At the front of the room, Donna and Drew’s sweetheart table served as the perfect focal point of the room. With a textural greenery garland, deep green linens, and stylish candlesticks, their tablescape was a perfect autumnal execution of our White & Sage color palette.

And directly behind them was their unique accent piece - a White & Sage floral arch complete with their new name! If you’re looking for a stylish and effective backdrop for your wedding reception or head table, then an arch decorated with flower garland is an impactful and interesting addition. Plus, it makes for the perfect background for those stunning wedding photos!

Lush Green & Gold Centerpieces

Echoing the styling of the head table, their round guest tables were decorated with deep green linens, gold accents, eucalyptus garlands, and twinkling candles. Adding a dark jewel green tone to their White & Sage wedding was a stylish way to make their fall wedding feel cozy and dramatic, and helped to create contrast within these beautiful tablescapes.

White & Sage Dessert Table & Guest Book

Every moment of your wedding is an opportunity to show off your style, and Donna and Drew embraced the details of their wedding cake table and guest book. Using more of those enchanting green linens, white flowers, lush greenery, and magical candles, they created layered, charming, and highly personal nooks to celebrate their love. Framed photos are a great way to mark this special day!

Stylish Seating Chart

Another way that Donna and Drew elevated their wedding reception was by displaying this bespoke seating plan. The dark color palette felt both bold and cozy against their White & Sage wedding, and the material and typeface felt cool and modern.

White & Sage Wedding Party Flowers

Of course, it wasn’t just the White & Sage wedding decor that stood out - the wedding party’s personal flowers added gorgeous color, texture, and emotion to their wedding day looks. Here’s what the newlyweds chose for their wedding party florals:

Cascading Bridal Bouquet

Donna opted for a bridal bouquet that felt wild and free, our Small Cascade Bridal Bouquet in Natural Whites. Crisp white florals combined with abundant natural greenery made for a rich texture, movement, and feeling bouquet. It was the perfect complement to her retro-inspired dress. How gorgeous is the beading detail!

Can we also take a moment to appreciate the photos in a red telephone booth? Having a pop of color at your venue or in your photos is a great way to create visual interest, even alongside a classic and simple color palette like White & Sage.

Green and White Bridesmaid Bouquets

Alongside Donna were her bridesmaids, all dressed in dresses of a gorgeous deep green. To match her White & Sage bridal bouquet, they carried their own Free-Form Bridesmaid Bouquets in Natural Whites. The trailing white ribbon added movement and contrast against their dresses, and the textural bouquets looked perfect against the silky fabric.

Elegant Boutonnieres

For Drew and his groomsmen, boutonnieres were a stylish way to elevate their dapper suits. These Baby’s Breath Boutonnieres added simple texture and detail and were the perfect finishing touch to the entire wedding party’s look.
